Women often complain about men’s sexism against them, but women may be looking at men in the same way. Here are 5 things that women are often prejudiced against men.
1. Are men much less capable of living than women?
In many advertisements, men are portrayed as helpless when they are away from women. They make a mess of their rooms, are hungry but can’t cook …… and in the traditional thinking of women, it is assumed that men are almost as incapable of taking care of themselves as children, such as cooking, sewing, cleaning the house and going to the supermarket, but not all men are bad at these things.
2. Is the workplace really just for men?
Women often complain that in many career fields, which are dominated by men, it is difficult for women to be valued and promoted. But conversely, what do we think of men who work as nurses or kindergarten teachers? We would think that they lack manliness and are not suitable for these types of jobs. So the discrimination is mutual.
3. Are all men the same?
Do you think all men are the same? That they fix cars just as well, love staring at pretty women on the street just as much, and like to get drunk on the weekends? Don’t hold stereotypes about anyone, especially men.
4. Men can’t take care of kids?
Men seem helpless when it comes to child care? In fact, new moms can be just as confused! And a responsible dad who is good at thinking and learning may be able to do an even better job than mom.
5. Do women really know men?
Women think they know men and what they want out of life, but men are just as complex as women, so don’t infer imaginary conclusions based on his gender.
