There are some little things that men can bring up among themselves, so how much does he really give away about his sex life?
Single straight men:
In my experience, men will brag about their sex life, or their partner’s sexual skills, but very rarely go into any detail about sex. I’ve heard that this is the opposite of the conversation about sex between women.
Men don’t gossip about each other like women do, or even just think about it in their heads like that. It’s usually something like, “Man, that was a terrible blowjob last night ……” and then, no more.
Gay singles:
I think most straight guys would talk openly about sex in the warm bar hallways and locker rooms. But given that I’ve avoided sports bars and male locker rooms my entire gay life to find blows, I have to admit that the above statement is pure speculation.
However, given men’s tendency to brag, it’s not entirely unreasonable to say that straight men are happy to share the details of their lives in bed with their buddies, especially if you’ve mastered the art of deep-throating or if you’re happy to experience the thrill of third penetration. Even if you’re sexually incompatible, I have nothing to fear. Even though you’re practically Missionary Mary, I’m sure that after a round of Jagershots and then a few touches, you’ll be a unicycle Wendy in your friend’s eyes.
Straight men with partners:
I have a “shut up” policy with most people. But when I’m with my closest friends, I talk about everything. Every detail, all the feelings.
From ninth grade, when sex was still uncharted territory for us, I was with a group of friends who shared everything about it. We had to all come together to figure out what it was all about. We never stopped.
But when I actually got involved with a woman and she met with the same friends I had described to her, I stopped talking about that. I only talked about the details of the new position. I found intimate bedtime to be a blast (I had a terrible secret service). Even though acting on my own impulses can make me feel childish, at least I have a tight-lipped confidante.
