Heart disease can be triggered by a bad personality

In the 1980s, psychologists classified human personality into four similar types, A, B, C, and D, and found that human personality was closely related to disease. Among them, type A personality is closely related to heart disease.

What is “Type A personality”?

A type A personality is a person who is in a hurry and has a sense of time urgency, not finishing one thing and then moving on to another. Often, they can be furious over small things and often neglect their personal health. They don’t enjoy life, don’t know how to take care of themselves, and often put themselves under tension and stress all day long.

People with Type A personalities are prone to heart disease

After two decades of observational research, Friedman and others, a leading American cardiologist, found that Type A personalities are more likely to have heart disease. The study found that the incidence of coronary heart disease was 1.7 to 4.5 times higher in people with type A personality than in those with type B personality, and the incidence was not related to diet or the presence of high blood pressure. However, people with this personality are in a state of chronic tension and stress, and these psychological and behavioral reactions cause a series of changes through neuroendocrine mechanisms, such as an increase in the number of platelets in the blood and an increase in the concentration of serum cholesterol and triglycerides, especially when impatient and angry, the content of cholesterol in the serum can be doubled within half an hour, and all these changes are the important factors that induce coronary heart disease. All of these changes are important factors in the development of coronary heart disease.

Statistics show that 85% of cardiovascular disease, is associated with type A behavior. Similarly, studies have shown that Type A personality is strongly associated with the development of coronary heart disease. In heart disease patients, Type A personality is 98%. Autopsy tests have proven that type A personalities with coronary atherosclerosis of the heart are five times higher than those with type B personalities. The first time I saw the film, I was able to see it.
