A year into the job, two openings arose at a large company, one as a designer in the usual sense (now renamed “creative designer”) and one as an “art designer. The biggest problem with small private companies is that they are not regulated, the bosses are like the emperor, and they are not subject to any constraints. The longest day I worked was eighteen hours, and I went home at two o’clock at midnight and rested for only four hours before I was called back to work.
