Glamour magazine recently published an article on the following 6 psychological problems that are totally unwarranted and don’t have to be so stressful that a little confusion is labeled as a mental illness.
1. “I think about too many things, and my mind is a mess every day.”
It’s perfectly normal to overthink things, and you can always ask yourself, “Is this really important? Does it take that much effort on my part?” This practice will gradually clear your head.
2. “I’m worried about what other people think of me.”
It’s good to assess and be aware of what other people think of you, you just don’t have to expend too much energy on this.
3. “I get upset easily and my emotions are like a roller coaster.”
This doesn’t mean you suffer from inattention disorder; you probably just need a break.
4. “I always have insomnia and think about the next day.”
Most people have insomnia from time to time, so take a moment to plan for tomorrow before you go to bed so you don’t have to lie in bed thinking about it.
5. “When I get a little headache, I worry if something is wrong with my body.”
It’s normal to pay attention to your physical sensations, as long as you don’t rush to the emergency room because of a little pain.
6. “I have an extreme lack of confidence and live a depressing day-to-day life.”
You don’t have to worry about that, maybe you’re a great person. Build confidence by simply focusing on doing everything you do well.
