11 misconceptions about birth control that you can’t get pregnant during your period

Concept #1: It’s impossible for a girl to get pregnant the first time she does the “sex drive”

Wrong! Do you think you’re trying for free? Any sexual activity can lead to pregnancy, and there’s no “free taste” convention here.

Concept 2: It’s impossible to get pregnant during a woman’s period

Wrong! Just because you’re menstruating doesn’t mean your eggs won’t show up. As soon as the sperm meets the egg, it’s super difficult to break them up.

Concept 3: After a man ejaculates multiple times, his sperm count will drop to the point where it will not lead to pregnancy

Wrong! The production of sperm is a primal male instinct, and the number of sperm is not distributed on a daily basis. Even if he ejaculates 10 times a day and gives it to you the 11th time, you are just as likely to get hit with a pregnancy.

Ideal #4: If women jump up and down afterwards, they can avoid pregnancy

Wrong! Even if you are jumping up and down for “sexual pleasure” (who can do that?) You can still get pregnant even if you’re jumping up and down for the “sex drive” (who can do that?), or jumping in a 360-degree spin afterwards. No matter what position you are in, the sperm will reach the entrance of the uterus 90 seconds after ejaculation, can you beat it?

Ideal #5: A hot shower before a woman’s “sex drive” can reduce the likelihood of pregnancy

Wrong! Showers have absolutely nothing to do with birth control, unless you’re having sex alone.

Concept 6: Women only get pregnant when they have an orgasm

Wrong! There are millions of women in the world who are pregnant, but the number of them who have not experienced an orgasm is equally uncountable. Pregnancy is fertility, and unless you’ve been diagnosed as infertile, you can get pregnant whether you orgasm or not.

Idea #7: You can get pregnant if you swallow semen

Wrong! As the saying goes, different paths don’t go together. What your mouth eats goes into your stomach and intestines, not your uterus, so if you eat it, then you can eat as much as you want and not get pregnant.

Concept 8: Incomplete male penetration does not cause a woman to get pregnant

Wrong! Sperm are more tenacious than you can imagine. Even if you are artificially lazy, the sperm will find the egg and take root on their own over long distances.

Ideal #9: Douching with water or soap or coke or whatever liquid you think you’ve heard of after a blissful workout will prevent pregnancy

Wrong! Do you think you’re a beer bottle? The brush can still hold something. You’re torturing yourself like this and you’re only going to end up causing your own infection. Contraception, therefore never!

Concept 10: It’s impossible for a girl who hasn’t had her period to get pregnant

Wrong! Women do not ovulate according to their first menstrual period. Nowadays, with abundant nutrition, many girls begin ovulating before their first menstrual period. Also, many girls get their periods at age 11, so if someone is having sex with you before then, go to court and sue them.

Concept 11: If a woman urinates right after a “sex drive,” she can’t get pregnant

Wrong! The human body has many tracts, the urethra and the vagina, and that’s not one tract.
