Left-handed people are easy to lose control of their psychology

Left-handedness is synonymous with intelligence and creativity in many people’s eyes. But according to a recent report on Fox News, left-handed people are more likely to experience psychological problems.

A new study published in the journal Neuropsychology found that left-handed people appear to be more likely to experience psychological problems and disorders. Left-handed people and those who are habitually ambidextrous make up only 10% and 1% of the population, but they suffer from ADHD, speech disorders, and other psychological problems at a rate of 20% and 30%, higher than those who are habitually right-handed.

The exact association between left-handedness and psychological problems is unclear, according to psychiatrist Mellon Somers and others at the University Medical Center in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The general belief is that left-handed people are accustomed to using the right side of the brain, which may not be entirely accurate, but the right side of the brain is more “fragile” and sensitive to injury than the left side, and therefore may be more prone to problems.
