Find security with your feet on the ground
Fast-paced modern life has overwhelmed many people’s minds and even left them traumatized. In fact, it is not difficult to de-stress, and experts tell you that just a few small movements can help you relax quickly.
Feet on the ground.
Find a comfortable chair and sit down, putting both feet on the floor. This way, you can feel a sense of support and a sense that “I’m not alone, I’m safe.”
Tighten and loosen your body.
Let the muscles in your body tighten and then relax, going back and forth between “tight” and “relaxed”. The first thing you need to do is to get your body into a relaxed state, and in that case, your mind will naturally soften.
Open your shoulders.
Open your shoulders back as far as you can, and you will feel as if your emotions follow suit, opening up and embracing, gradually leaving the unpleasant feelings behind.
Breathe deeply and allow yourself to move a little.
When people experience discomfort or shock, their bodies involuntarily become “stiff”. Forcing yourself to move, such as moving your fingers, walking, or waving, can help you shift your thinking.
