Six tips to help you relieve anxiety

Psychological anxiety is a common problem of modern people, especially the stressed ones. Then the appropriate relief of anxiety in life can help prevent the disease. Here are a few tips from experts for anxiety sufferers:

1. Yawn, slow down your breathing, be mindful, relax your entire body from head to toe, and then slowly resume your original behavior.

2. Consider one thing that interests you. For example, plan your day or evening schedule; recall a favorite movie you saw; envision a nice dinner table and imagine you’re tasting a particular dish.

3. Recall a successful experience you had handling a similar situation, or recall a good feeling you experienced when you were successful in the past.

4. Focus on the specific things around you and try to look at the details or ask questions about each object you see.

5. Count backwards from 20, or rewind to something that made you feel happy or calm. These things can come from memory or from imagination.

6. If you can, go for a walk and talk to others.
